Candidate Profile • At least four years of work experience in the private or non-profit sector, ideally in developing small enterprises with a track record of success in business development, sales growth, developing new marketing channels and improving business operations.

• A Masters Degree
Job Profile • Business Development

o Increasing reach and penetration of the program

o Develop consulting agreements with various stakeholders including the government and other development institutions to expand AIACA’s work in the crafts sector.

o Classification of groups for outreach and maintaining database of potential groups

• Revenue Generation

o Make the program sustainable through appropriate mix of cost shared and consultancy projects

o Design an appropriate fee structure based on target group analysis and services offered

• Consulting management - map the value chain of enterprises and help develop:

o Standard Operating Procedures related to templates/ documentation/ Issue Analysis etc

o Oversee the blueprint of MOU’s/ Business Plans and Actions Plans

o Develop and implement relevant training programs for staff of enterprises in the program

o Conceptualize and implement support strategies for initiating production activities in new clusters in collaboration with local partners and cluster organizers.

• Knowledge Creation and Sharing

o Oversee documentation of diagnostic studies/ feasibility reports/ craft documentations

o Develop case studies of best practice relevant to creating and managing enterprises

o Create information sharing platforms with stakeholders within and outside the organization

• Create a framework for monitoring and evaluation of impact of ESP activities and oversee

o Standards for collection of baseline and progressive data

o Quarterly reporting on all impact metrics

• Explore and develop partnerships with other non-profit and corporate organizations to build capacity of the program and enhance impact.

• In collaboration with AIACA board and staff, contribute to annual and multi-year business development strategies to leverage AIACA capability, opportunities, and program goals and contribute to increased organizational impact and growth.
