The selected person should be able to independently manage the operations of pulses and / or spices and / or meal trade and work as a profit center, which essentially includes among other things the following:

• Identify, develop and cultivate suppliers and buyers of pulses, spices and oil meal and negotiate favourable terms for purchase and sale contracts

• Knowledge of sellers’ and buyers’ contracts and must have experience in containerized shipment of physical commodities and modalities of payment as per company’s rules and regulations.

• Assess and manage the financial, operational, and market risks associated with commodity trading

• Stay informed about relevant regulations, sanctions, and compliance requirements in the commodity trading.

• Maintain communication with logistics department to ensure deadlines are met

• Weekly sharing of information about the shipments with top management and troubleshoot any issue on a proactive basis.

• Keep abreast of market trends, carry out market analysis and develop growth strategies

• Prepare reports for performance review on a quarterly basis, identify gaps and action plan to bridge them.
