Principle Responsibility:

• Call on current and prospective grower and dealer/distributor customers in a geographic territory to promote manufacturer’s products and services, introduce new products and technologies, and generate orders to meet or exceed monthly sales quotas.

• Track and document sales leads, customer service issues and general account status.

• Work with district sales manager to communicate leads to product managers and to dealer/distributors.

• Monitor changing market conditions; product innovations; and competitors' products, prices, and sales.

• Annual Budget Planning and execution

• Will Look after sales activities of assigned area.

• Liasoning with Government Officers, Bankers

• Assist customers with questions about manufacturer’s products and applications, including providing technical troubleshooting and training on irrigation system design, installation, and maintenance.

OTHER DUTIES

• Manage numerous, challenging tasks/projects; must be able to multitask in an organized fashion.

• Develop effective relationships with customer base and local growers.

• Maintain extraordinary level of customer service.

• Maintains a contact sheet of current and potential customers.

• Responsible for improving and finding alternative sources and solutions in helping customers accomplish their buying needs.

• Other duties as may be assigned.

Skills:

• Must be proactive.

• Ability to effectively conduct meetings and training sessions.

• Computer literate with Microsoft.

• Excellent Communication & Interpersonal Skills

The Candidate:

• The incumbent will ideally possess the above.

Industry Preference:

• Preferably from micro irrigation industry.

Qualification:

B Sc Agri / B.Tech. Agri./M Sc Agri/ M.Tech Agri
