Job Profile
- The person will have prime responsibility of planning and executing various interventions required for demonstrating and facilitating market linkages and value addition for a range of agricultural commodities.
- The marketing expert will also be responsible to support the project team in designing and executing other project interventions related to marketing and/or value addition, aligned with the overall objectives of the project.
Candidates Profile
- Understanding and experience in procurement and marketing of the aforesaid mentioned agri commodities.
- Understanding of the entire value chain from farm to marketing and processing opportunities for dry agri commodities.
- Experience of working on state/central govt. projects related to market linkages, value chain development, value chain finance, market information and intelligence etc.
- Experience of derivative markets, including structuring of futures/options products for dry commodities will be an added advantage.
