Role is Dubai based. Will involve travel to Africa and different parts of the world

The Trader Trainee role allows the opportunity to learn and train under an experienced Merchandiser/Trader, eventually becoming an independent Commodity Trader.

The Commodity Trader Trainee will be mentored/trained to be responsible for commodity origination, logistics, marketing, and execution within assigned product(s) and/or location(s).

Arrange cost effective and efficient transportation of commodities

Understanding of local supply and demand factors that impact markets, and commercial decisions to generate revenue.

Initiate and negotiate on terms of commodity purchase and collaborate with supply chain and plant operations teams to timely fulfill commodity contracts for customers.

Exposure to procurement of agri commodities/ trading/ execution is required
